Jesus said “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Jesus is truly the light for our way. Welcome to our website

This pandemic has given us an opportunity to be still, listen for God’s voice, study our Bible and draw closer to the One who provides all we need. We are confused, anxious and uncertain. We connect with friends, family and our churches through Zoom and other social media but that is sadly lacking in the human companionship we all need. As things begin to return to a new normal, we wonder what lies ahead. That’s why it’s so important to know God is still on His throne and still in control. God’s got this!

God created you in His image to know Him, love Him, live with Him and glorify Him. Even though He does not need us He is immensely interested in our lives. He deeply and tenderly loves us beyond comprehension not because He has to out of need but because He chooses to out of love. “The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will quiet you with His love. He will rejoice over you with singing. “Zephaniah 3:17”

God has a purpose for you and in one sense you are always living in God’s purpose. Psalm 57:2 says “I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose in me. This is key in understanding God’s purpose for your life. God has numbered your days and will fulfill every purpose He has for you.

God wants you to be happy. Psalm 37:3-4 says Trust in the Lord and do good. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. How about Psalm 126.2 – Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy, Then it was said among the nations, “the Lord has done great things for them. Have you felt this way lately?

One of my favorites is Luke 6:21. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh. I love this verse because it is a good reminder no matter what kind of difficulty we are experiencing there is hope for a better future. God has a plan for those who follow Him and its a plan of hope, renewal, restoration and joy.

We need to listen for God’s voice and the best way to get better at discerning God’s voice is to become familiar Him. We need to know God or we walk around confused and uncertain. How do we do this? Read your bible daily, spend time quietly meditating on scripture and God’s goodness and mercy; ask questions and then listen intently for His response. Pray – talk to God. He is never far away. He is there in spite of pandemics and isolation. He is there, right where you are wherever that may be.

“but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint”. Isaiah 40:31

As I mentioned above God loves you. There is no better proof than John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. I can’t begin to comprehend the depth of that kind of love.
