“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
I haven’t posted in awhile. Sometimes this is a place to try to sort out my jumbled thoughts and emotions. Sometimes I hope it is a place God can use to ease someone else’s troubled soul and give them hope. But sometimes it is a painful reminder of the grief in our lives and the world around us.
Today I read the above verse again – it’s one of my favorites and one I repeat to myself and to God often. And today it was a reminder that we are not the only ones to have ever been touched by grief, loss or sadness. This world is full of it – all we need to do is look around us. But more importantly it was a reminder that we never have to fear we will walk this life alone. He is always with us, even when He seems far away. He renews our strength, covers us with grace and mercy and pleads for us to just hold on. He will return and the best is yet to come.
